IVa Aart Jacobsz Captein (uit III), geboren Maasdam omstreeks 1658 (*8), begraven Numansdorp 1.2.1734. In 1694 schepen van Numansdorp. Trouwde in St Anthoniepolder op 3.12.1684 Wijventje (Wijvertje) Leenderts Vermaes, gedoopt St Anthoniepolder 5.1.1659 en begraven te Numansdorp op 8.3.1749. Aangifte door Jacob Cappetein vant lijk van zijn moeder Wyveltje Leenderts Vermaes, ƒ30,-- grafrecht. Dochter van Leenderts Jacobsz Vermaes, schout van St Anthoniepolder in 1664 en Neeltje Simonsd Smits.

Uit de "Lijste of quohier" van 1742 opgesteld door de schout en schepenen op last van de Staten blijkt dat de weduwe van Aart Capteijn een eigen bouwwoning met 73 morgen land bezat. De huurwaarde van dit land was zes gulden en vijftien stuivers per morgen. Ook gebruikte zij nog 30 morgen huurland en bezat een rijtuig.
