Eerste huwelijk te Rotterdam 16-10-1940 met Johanna Edenburg, geboren op 18-08-1908 te Rotterdam, overleden aldaar op 24-08-2002. Altvioliste en gemeente ambtenaar. Zij was een dochter van Gerrit Edenburg, melkbezorger, geboren 05-02-1868 te Rotterdam, overleden 30-12-1937 aldaar, en van Ingetje Kappetein, dienstbode, geboren 04-06-1881 te Heinenoord, overleden 18-02-1962 te Rotterdam.
