Notes about Adolf Holtman

Vertrok naar Vologda, in Rusland, op sijn ouderdom alhier tot Amsterdam weerderom is gekoomen en een soon in sijn huis in Moscou gelaeten, en hij met twee soonen en twee dochters is in Amsterdam coomen woonen op de Ceijsersgraft over de Gouden Ceetingh en daer overleeden 1711 of 12 en twee soonen naegelaeten, eene genaemt Abraham Houtman, eene Jacob Houtman, gewoont over de Comedie, ongetrout overl

Op 19 juli 1704 het pakhuis ‘Pruyssenbosch’ door de familie Swanen was overgedragen aan Adolf Houtman. Dat was een grote en zeer bekende koopman op Rusland, die afwisselend daar en in Amsterdam woonde.
Een pand op de Brouwersgracht, dat de Mekofse Weestadon heet, heeft ook aan de familie toebehoord.
Op 19 september 1710 werd hij in de Westerkerk begraven.
