Had een kruidenierswinkel op het dorp in Heerde (waar nu anno 2009 de Wibra zit) de winkel werd in 1975 verkocht door zijn zoon Willem.
Na de verkoop is een einde gekomen aan een familiebedrijf dat 182 jaar heeft bestaan en door 6 generatie's werd geleid
