Zijn testament, gemaakt met Catharina van de Lisdonk op 7 april 1884. werd aangevochten door de familie Brocken en bij vonnis van de arrondissementsrechtbank van Breda de dato 28 juni 1892 traden Frans Hutten, wever en getrouwd met Anna Brocken. wever Hendrik Brocken. herbergier Frans Brocken en kleerrnaker Jan van Helfteren.
getrouwd met Petronella Brocken. allen woonachtig te Tilburg. op als eisers van de scheiding en deling van de goederen van wijlen Petrus Brocken tegen zijn echtgenote Catharina van de Lisdonk. die te Goirle zou overlijden op 28 april 1901.
