Ik heb wat informatie gevonden over Adriaan Kouwenberg, + 7 mei 1945. Mijn moeder is een dochter van een Marie Kouwenberg. Haar vader was bakker in Moergestel, dat was Josephus Johannes Kouwenberg (1881-1956).
Adriaan Kouwenberg is overleden bij een ongeluk met het paard en de kar van zijn vader, de bakker. Dat gebeurde bij het vieren van de bevrijding. Zijn graf is in Moergestel te vinden en op de grafsteen staat zijn geboortedatum: 11-03-1913
Henrica van Bommel was de oma van mijn moeder. Marie Kouwenberg had ook een zus, Cor, die jarenlang een winkeltje had in Moergestel. Ikzelf heb die Cor nog oppervlakkig gekend. Marie Kouwenberg ligt begraven in Schijndel. Maria Hendrika Kouwenberg??

Adriaan Kouwenberg was blijkbaar getrouwd met Johanna Rijnbeek (* 2-2-1913 +29-4-1991). Samen hadden ze ook een dochtertje, volgens de grafsteen, die niet eens 2 jaar is geworden (*18-8-1944 - +7-5-1946). Precies een jaar na de vader overleden. Wat een ellende voor de moeder.

Dus, tot zover deze wat chaotische uitbreiding van het geheel...

Mijn moeder zou graag een stamboom krijgen van het geslacht Kouwenberg! Is die ergens beschikbaar? ...
