Interieur van het wevershuis van de familie Koolen in de Bergstraat. Links wever Johannes Franciscus (Frans) Koolen (1868-1936), die in 1890 trouwde met Maria van Osch, en zijn twee kinderen, Janus (1895-1921) en Jana (1892-1932). De laatste trouwde later met Jan van der Zande. In het midden zijn zuster Anna Catharina (Trien) Koolen (1860-1945), die ongehuwd bleef. Rechts hun moeder Johanna van Hees. Zij werd geboren te Goirle in 1828 en hertrouwde als weduwe van Jacobus Spaninks te Tilburg in 1856 met rietdekker Peter Koolen. Zij overleed in Goirle op 10 december 1902.
