Op 11 februari 1879 trouwden te Tilburg Joannes Franciscus Janssen, weduwnaar van Catharina Mandos, met Johanna Mandos (zus van zijn eerste echtgenote). Als getuigen verschenen o. a. Petrus Mandos, 72 jaar, behuwdoom van de bruidegom én oom van de bruid en Wilhelmus Franciscus Weijers 42 jaar en Wilhelmus Marianus Weijers, 32 jaar, beiden behuwdbroeders van zowel bruidegom als bruid!: .
Het eerste huwelijk van Joannes Franciscus Janssen, met Catharina Mandos, vond plaats te Tilburg op 16 mei 1861. Zijn eerste echtgenote overleed op 5 november 1877 te Tilburg. Beide echtgenotes waren dochters van Hendricus Mandos en Francisca de Rooij. Hun vader Hendricus had een broer Petrus, die getuige is bij het tweede huwelijk en dus oom van de bruid en behuwdoom van de bruidegom, Petrus was immers (ook) oom van de eerste echtgenoot van de bruidegom en dus aangehuwde oom van de bruidegom. Wilhelmus Franciscus Weijers trouwde op 16 augustus 1871 te Tilburg met Maria Agnes Mandos en Wilhelmus Marianus Weijers trouwde op 7 november 1867 te Tilburg met Maria Catharina Mandos, beiden dochters van Hendricus Mandos en Francisca de Rooij. Zij waren dus beiden behuwdbroeders van zowel bruid als bruidegom.
Maar er is nóg iets bizonders aan de hand met genoemde huwelijksakte. Bij dat huwelijk op 11 februari 1879 werd een zoon Franciscus Willebrordus, geboren Tilburg 7 november 1861 erkend en dat is op zijn minst curieus te noemen, zeker als men bedenkt dat uit het eerste huwelijk op 7 februari 1862 te Tilburg een zoon Henricus Franciscus Janssen werd geboren. De kans dat Joannes Franciscus Janssen de natuurlijke vader is van Franciscus Willebrordus lijkt mij niet zo groot. Dat zou nl. betekenen dat hij rond februari 1861 een kind heeft verwekt bij Johanna Mandos en enkele maanden later trouwt met haar zus! Op papier blijft Joannes Franciscus Janssen vader van twee kinderen, die 3 maanden in leeftijd schelen!
