De moeder van ons Tante Marie stierf 23/2/1913. Maria Adriana was toen bijna 10 jaar oud. De vader bleef zitten met 6 kinderen, de oudste was al gestorven, de tweede oudste, Johanna, was 14 j oud. Nicolaas was 13. Met Elisabeth Adriana (6) en Catharina Joanna (4) ging ze naar de Zusters van de Oude Dijk. Ze waren nrs 1031, 1032 en 1033. Dit bevestigt wat we al wisten, nl dat Tante Marie opgroeide in een weeshuis.
