Voordat Reijnier trouwde met Christophora, was hij al weduwnaar van ene Engel van Krinkele, met wie hij op 3 december 1690 te Oud- en Nieuw-Gastel trouwde. Zij moet gestorven zijn voor 1698, toen Reijnier getrouwd was met Christophora.
