Cornelis is tweemaal getrouwd, maar het is niet duidelijk wie nu de moeder is van zijn zoon Andries.

Het eerste huwelijk is met Jenneke Barents, het tweede met Cuijndertge Barends PIERHAGEN, geboren 1595, overleden tussen 18 november 1635 (zij is dan doopgetuige te Sleeuwijk) en 2 november 1638. Cuijndertge werd op 10 oktober 1630 beleend met de 13 mergen land te Rijswijk. Zij woont in 1633 aan de Oudendijk te Woudrichem. Dochter van Barend Adriaen Gerritsz Pierhagen en Dirckje Teunisdr Coijman.

Cornelis wordt vermeld in 1594 in Bergambacht: Sententie (vonnis) in de zaak van Cornelis Andriesz Vroech ende Dirck Adriaensz, beide wonende te Bergambacht, tez(amen) en Cornelis Aelbrechtsz Kapitein mede aldaar.
