Maar zijn bestaan en dat van twee vermoedelijke zoons volgt wel uit alle data die beschikbaar is. Vooral uit de geschatte geboortejaren en de naamgeving van de personen blijkt een toenemende verwantschap.

De naam Sterrenburg is zeer waarschijnlijk een toponiem, afkomstig van het buurtschap juist ten zuiden van Dordrecht. Nu ligt daar de Dortse wijk Sterrenburg.
