Was Heilige Geestmeester in Princenhage in 1507. Kerk- en Heilige Geestmeesters maakten in enigermate deel van het dorpsbestuur uit, zo staat in het tijdschrift Taxandria van 1903 (p. 161). 'Want zij getuigden en stemden in vele vergaderingen, en ondertekenden menige acte en besluit vooraleer het protestantisme werd ingevoerd. Tot aan dat tijdstip noemde men de bestierders der armenzaken H. Geestmeesters; de bezittingen waaruit de armen onderstand genoten, H. Geestgoederen, welke beide benamingen later in Armmeesters en armgoederen veranderd zijn. Uit die middelen genoot steeds een groot aantal behoeftigen de nodige onderstand'. De H. Geestmeesters werden om het jaar gekozen.
