De naam Roesterberg komt veel voor in de omgeving van Tilburg, waar tussen Loon op Zand en Helvoirt het oude buurtschap Roestelberg ligt. Waarschijnlijk is Willem of zijn dochter Adriaentje één van de 'kolonisten' geweest die op aandringen van abt Mutsaerts van de abdij van Tongerlo naar de verwoeste omgeving van Essen trokken.
