Deze relatie tussen dochter Clara en vader Johannis is nog niet 'hard' aangetoond in de archieven, maar gebaseerd op sterke aanwijzingen in de naamgevingen en het feit dat er maar weinig Onincx-en voorkomen in Chaam en omgeving rond deze periode.

In één bron (BHIC) wordt aangegeven dat het patroniem van Johannis zowel WILMS als HENDRICKS is. Omdat Wilms verder niet voorkomt, maar Hendricks wel, wordt hier dat laatste patroniem aangehouden. Daarnaast komt er nog een eerder huwelijk voor van Jan Jendricks Onincx: op 29 mei 1646 trouwde hij te Chaam met Johanna Cornelissen van den Kieboom.
