Met het huwelijk tussen Dingemans de Weert en Dijmphna Mutsaerts is er een verbinding tussen de stambomen De Weert en Van Beurden, 270 jaar voor het huwelijk tussen Alfred Adriaan de Weert en Maria van Beurden.

Over de achternaam Mutsaerts: Het in onbruik geraakte woord mutsaard of mutserd betekent takkenbundel. Het werd ook als verzamelnaam gebruikt, in het bijzonder als aanduiding voor het hout waarmee het vuur gestookt werd om iemand levend te verbranden oftewel de brandstapel. In het gezegde, 'Hij weet waar Abraham de mosterd haalt" is het woord mosterd een verbastering van mutsaard. De uitdrukking "Het riekt naar de mutsaard" betekende dan ook weinig goeds. Wanneer deze uitdrukking gebruikt werd, verdacht men iemand van ketterij. Ook in de Romeinse tijd werd het woord mutsaard gebruikt. Een mutsaard was verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid van de keizer. Hij was diegene die voor een optocht van de keizer uitliep en de opdringende menigte wegjoeg, waarbij hij takkenbossen gebruikte.
