Beroep: landbouwer. Anthonis is, voor zijn huwelijk met Maeyken, al tweemaal eerder getrouwd geweest. De naam van zijn eerste vrouw is onbekend, maar zijn tweede vrouw heette Barbara Corst Jansdr. van Meerkerck. Door het huwelijk van Anthonius en Barbera krijgt Anthonis Gerrits Middag 3 mergen van het Jan Zweijnenweer in zijn bezit. Later koopt hij van de overige erfgenamen de andere 5 mergen. Zo komt het z.g.n. Jan Zweijnenweer in het bezit van de fam. Middach in Middelkoop.

Anthonius Gherits Middach is waarschijnlijk indentiek met Anthonis Gheritsz. van den Hill. (Uit Gens Nostra: 1986, blz. 29 en 30.) ook (Gens Nostra: 1976, blz. 247 gaat hierover).

Middelkoop was in 1627 een klein buurschap en had toen 33 huizen in het land van Arkel. (Uit GN 1976, blz 247). In de Ned. Leeuw van 1969, kol. 345-47 is door E.G. Middag uit Hilversum alles uitvoerig gedocumenteerd.
