Bij de geboorte van zoon Johannes op 13 januari 1786 te Son werd zijn achternaam geschreven als VAN DE MOLENGRAAF. Bij die doopaantekening gebeurde er nog iets: de naam van de vader en dopeling 'Kerkhof' is doorgehaald en verbeterd in "van de Molengraaf op 02-10-1820 t.g.v. huwelijk van Joannes op 16-10-1820 te Oirschot. Dan wonen Maria en Adriaan ook in Oirschot, en zijn vermelde beroep is landbouwer. Op zijn eigen trouwaantekening wordt zijn achternaam geschreven als VAN DE MUELENGRAEFT. Bij de dood van zijn vrouw werd zij niet vermeld als 'weduwe van'. Dit betekent waarschijnlijk dat Adrianus toen nog leefde.
