Getuigen bij het huwelijk zijn Joannes Bircheers, Joannes Knipkens en Anna Christina Consales. Die laatste achternaam klinkt behoorlijk Spaans? Hij overlijdt aan dysenterie, en werd gratis begraven op het kerkhof van de minderbroeders. Hij woonde voor zijn dood in de Onze Lieve Vrouw Oord-straat.

Een Mattheus/Matthias trouwt nog tweemaal, beide malen in Roermond: op 1 november 1730 met Maria Catharina Leeckermans, en op 22 oktober 1752 met Catharina Jolij. Of dit ook dezelfde Mathhias is, is onduidelijk.
