Het is niet duidelijk of dit dezelfde Maria is als Maria Walterus van der Beurght, waarmee Willem van Boxtel in 1748 trouwt te 's-Gravenmoer. Wellicht was haar andere achternaam Akkermans/Ackermans? Een sterke indicatie dat het wel de juiste vrouw is, is haar vaders naam, Walterus. Het kind van Willem en Maria heet ook zo, en in die tijd werden zonen doorgaans vernoemd naar hun grootvaders. Na 1752 komt Maria niet meer voor in de boeken van 's-Gravenmoer en Dongen.
