Dijkgraaf, schepen en schout van Poortugaal. Zerk in de kerk van Poortugaal: "HIER LEIT BEGRAVEN AERT HENRICXZ. VAN DRIEL - IN SIJN LEVEN DIJKGRAEF EN SCHOUT VAN POORTEGAEL ONTTRENT 44 JAAREN. HIJ STERF DEN XII JULI Ao.1596". Twee wapens, verbonden door een liefdeskoord (gedeeltelijk uitgehakt): 1: dubbele adelaar, II (in ruit): een omgewende klimmende vos. Volgens een nog in 1917 aanwezig rouwbord in de kerk van Poortugaal voerde dit geslacht van Driel als wapen een rode dubbelkoppige adelaar in goud. Aert Hendriksz gebruikte zelf de naam van Driel niet, de meeste kinderen echter wel, op de zerk werd hij later toegevoegd.
