Maria Theresia Stallaert-Waterschoot overlijdt op 31-jarige leeftijd op 31-01-1775 te Pauluspolder, drie weken na de geboorte en het overlijden van dochter Catharina. In de archieven in sprake van enige verwarring rondom haar overlijdensdatum en -plaats. Zo wordt onder andere in een akte gevonden dat zij zou zijn overleden in Verrebroek, haar geboorteplaats. Uit een proces verbaal van veel latere datum, namelijk uit 1812 waaruit blijkt dat Maria’s zoon Cornelis een overlijdensverklaring van zijn moeder vraagt, wordt duidelijk dat deze verklaring ontbreekt en wordt deze alsnog vastgesteld. ...........
