Mijn Tante Net (Antonetta Adriana Vermeulen) is nooit gehuwd geweest met dhr. Westerlaken maar met Dhr. Cornelis Hapers, kruidenier te Gilze. Uit het huwelijk zijn vier kinderen voortgekomen die allen nog in leven zijn dus niet openbaar.

Mijn tante Anna die in 1936 naar Tilburg is vertrokken is in 1944 met haar aanstaande echtgenoot, Anton Blaudzun, geboren in Saluponen (huidig Rusland, destijds oost Pruisen) naar Duitsland meegevlucht en zij hebben gewoont in het gehucht Hünchen, Lendringsen bij Menden in het oostelijk Ruhrgebied. Zij hebben twee dochters gekregen die beide nog leven dus niet openbaar.
