Geachte,

Zoekend naar lotgevallen over het gezin Sikkenga, dat op 5 juli 1944 door een Amerikaans bombardement zwaar getroffen werd, t.w. de moeder met 6 van de kinderen verloren hierbij het leven, kwam ik op uw genealogie-site.
Uw gegevens zijn m.i. niet juist: de niet-omgekomen vader Berend Sikkenga was gehuwd met Petronella M.E. Bezems!
De friese naam in ons brabantse viel me op; vader was chauffeur in Gilze; het bombardement was bedoeld voor uitschakeling van het duitse vliegveld Gilze-Rijen.
