Catharina Margaretha Maria de Brouwer werd geboren te Goirle op 23 mei 1887 als dochter van landbouwer Adriaan de Brouwer en Anna Maria van Roessel. Zij trad in bij de zusters van Schijndel -de congregatie van de zusters van liefde van O.L.V. van Goede Bijstand- en deed haar eeuwige gelofte op 15 augustus 1916. Zij was werkzaam in de missie van de Nederlandse Antillen. Haar kloosternaam was zuster Alisa. Zij overleed te Wijbosch/Schijndel op 22 april 1973.
