Op 24 mei a.s.(1958) hoopt de heer J. Venmans de dag te herdenken dat hij voor 40 jaar in dienst trad bij de firma J. Mannaerts schoenfabriek alhier (Tilburg)
Het zal de jubilaris niet aan belangstelling ontbreken, daar hij voor iedereen klaar staat. Hij maakt deel uit van de eerste ondernemingsraad, was jaren voorzitter van de sportclub "de Mannaboys".

Bij het 100 jarig bestaan van de firma schreef hij een grote feestreveu, die door hem werd opgevoerd met leden van het personeel. De refreintjes hiervan worden nog steeds gezongen. Hij heeft zijn mede arbeiders menig gezellig avondje bezorgd. De jubilaris recipieert op 24 mei 1958 van 1tot 2 uur te zijnen huize Leliestraat 81 tilburg.
