Op 24 februari 1994 vierden Joke van den Oetelaar en Marinus van de Sande hun 60-jarig huwelijksfeest.
Marinus van de Sande(87) is in Boxtel geboren, maar woont sinds 1940 in Vught, waar hij ook bijna 50 jaar heeft gewerkt bij de vroegerekolenhandelaar en transportbedrijf van de Meerendonk. Hij is dit jaar 45 jaar lid van het Vughtse Gilde St.Catharina. Bij zijn 40-jarig lidmaatschap in 1989 werd hij koninklijk onderscheiden.
Joke van de Oetelaar (83) werd geboren in Gemonde. Het echtpaar kreeg 7 kinderen, 7 kleinkinderen en een achterkleinkind.
Joke zorgde natuurlijk hoofdzakelijk voor haar grote gezin van zes kinderen.
Later was zij nog lang actief bij eem dansgroep voor ouderen.
Marinus van de Sande besteedt nu nog veel tijd aan zijn hobby's tuinieren en vissen en samen leggen ze nog bijna elke avond een kaartje.
