Geschiedenis
De molen heeft vóór 1860 nog een andere standplaats gehad.
Tot 1915 was G. Ebing de eigenaar van de molen, daarna was dat T. Ebing.
Op 11 mei 1940 is de molen door oorlogshandelingen in brand gevlogen.
De molen is daarna niet meer herbouwd.

Met de molen werd koren gemalen voor de boeren.
In een schuur ernaast werden ook bomen gezaagd, wellicht ook op windkracht?
Later was er een maalderij voor veevoeders, de molenaarsfamilie Ebing zwaaide er de scepter.
De stenen onderbouw heeft er tot 1984 gestaan.

Er heeft overigens nog veel langer geleden nog een andere molen in het dorp gestaan, op het punt waar de Hamseweg aansluit op de ... Molenweg.
De molen is afgebroken in 1984 om plaats te maken voor winkels
