    Omstreeks 1930 verhuisde hij met zijn dochter Cornelia Johanna Jacoba, haar partner Coert Hendrik Lodewijks en uit deze verbinding twee geboren zoons naar de Mercatorstraat 75 in Amsterda-west, alwaar Bernardus Frederik Duran overleed in 1935.

Het echtpaar woonde in de 1e Van Swindenstraat 29. Op 8 Augustus 1900 verhuisden zij naar de 1e Van Swindenstraat 78, waar ze een zaak gevestigd hadden voor verkoop en reparatie van naaimachines en andere electrische diensten. Voor die tijd werkte Bern. Frederik als postbesteller.
Na overlijden van Jannetje verhuisde het gezin (3.5.1906) naaar de Pieter Nieuwlandstraat, waar Bernardus Fredrik gemeld staat als rijwielhersteller.
November 1914 verhuisde hij met gezin naar de Commelinstraat 3, waar hij een electrisch-technisch bureau had.
