Haar vader moet een Javaanse soldaat zijn geweest die gelegerd was in Kedong Kebo en haar moeder een Javaanse vrouw. De geboorten van inheemse kinderen werden helaas niet geregistreerd in Nederlandsch-Indie", behalve wanneer hun inheemse vader was gelijkgesteld met de Europeaan.
