Notes about Maria Droppert

Op 13-9-1800 samen met haar zus Alida Droppert en vriendin Caatje van der Windt op heterdaad betrapt en vervolgens gearresteerd, wegens het hebben van 'vleeschelijke conversatie' met ca. 11 Franse soldaten. Na 8 dagen opsluiting in het cachot op water en brood wordt ze voor 2 jaar verbannen uit Vlaardingen. Op 14-3-1801 wordt ze echter weer in Vlaardingen gesignaleerd, opnieuw gearresteerd, 8 dagen op water en brood opgesloten en vervolgens voor 4 jaar verbannen uit Holland en Westvriesland; uiteindelijk belandt ze in Maassluis waar ook haar in 1791 verbannen broer Pieter zijn toevlucht had gezocht.
