    Verklaring van zijn weduwe in 1961: Ik ben gehuwd geweest met Antonius Wilhelmus van Mol, geboren te Woensel, 20 Januari 1917, overleden te Eindhoven op 4 December 1944. Mijn man van Mol is destijds in het R.K.Ziekenhuis aan de Vestdijk te Eindhoven overleden. Mijn man was tijdens de bezetting bij de ondergrondse en na de bevrijding was hij aangesloten bijde Blauwe Jagers. Als lid daarvan moest hij bewakingsdiensten verrichten bij het P.N.E.M.gebouw achter de Rijks Psychiatrische Inrichting aan de Boschdijk te Eindhoven. Bij deze bewaking schijnt mijn man door oververmoeidheid in slaap te zijn gevallen en met zijn hoofd op ijzer gelegen te hebben. Na het ontwaken was mijn man niet goed en sindsdien niet meer normaal. Hij werd blind en tengevolge daarvan werd hij opgenomen in het ziekenhuis waar hij na verloop van enkele dagen overleed. Aan mij werd toen medegedeeld dat de oorzaak van dit overlijden was het bevriezen van de hersenen. Dit zou dan het gevolg zijn van met het hoofd te liggen slapen op een ijzeren constructie. Mijn man is toen begraven op de R.K. Begraafplaats St.Lambertus aan de Hoogstraat te Eindhoven. (Bron: Nationaal Archief) Bron: Herinner U de namen, Stichting 18 September.
