Op 12 augustus 1927 kreeg Charlotta Sophia samen met Antonius Johannes een zoon Jan. Omdat zij nog niet officieel kon scheiden (is pas in 1939
uitgesproken, omdat Louis Jean zoekgeraakt is tijdens t WOI) en nog steeds Deinert heette kreeg Jan de achternaam Deinert. Na de scheiding kreeg Charlotta ook haar Nederlandse nationaliteit weer terug, die ze door haar huwelijk met Louis Jean was kwijtgeraakt. In 1942 is zij inderdaad getrouwd met de vader van haar zoon Jan die dus eigenlijk Burger hoort te heten.
