In maart 2009 is Jonjons moeder Aga Doppenberg (geb. 1935) overleden, maar zij heeft Jonjon nooit iets over haar biologische vader verteld. Moeder woonde vanaf 1952 in Den Haag en werkte als mannequin en schoonheidsspecialiste. Ze had haar eigen bedrijfje 'Salon Manon' en een opleidingsschooltje 'Manon' voor aanstormende mannequins, De zaak moet in een zijstraatje van de Laan van Meerdervoort zijn geweest, niet ver van de Fahrenheitstraat.

Een oude vriend van moeder vertelde Jonjon dat moeder rond Oud en Nieuw 1963 zwanger zou zijn geraakt van de zoon van één van de bazen/bedrijfsleiders van Maison de Bonneterie in Den Haag, waar ze werkte als mannequin. Het was een Joodse jongen met blond haar en krullen. Hij reed in een Mercedes. Hij woonde met zijn ouders aan de (Oud-) Scheveningseweg in Den Haag.

Jonjon heeft ooit een gesprek afgeluisterd tussen haar moeder, Jan van Aalst, Patrick van Aalst (broers en eigenaren modezaak in Den Haag.) en Flip Konijnenberg (zou iets in de internationale voetbalwereld doen).
