    Our beloved wife, mother and "Oma", Johanna Doppenberg Kolman, age 72, passed away April 3, 1998, at home with her family gathered around her after a valiant struggle with cancer.

    Born October 22, 1925 in Hilversum, Holland to Willem and Neeltje Doppenberg. Married John Kolman September 27, 1950 in Hilversum, Holland. She came to the United States in June, 1957. Johanna lived for and loved her children, adored her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She enjoyed needlework, knitting, and traveling the world and America with her loving husband. Member of the Christian Reformed Church.She is survived by her husband; children, Adrian and Lucy Kolman, Nelly and Frits Vande Merwe, Diane and Gene Falsone, Sylvia and Wendell Durfee; grandchildren, John (Tina), Jerry, Chris, Sara, Dominic, Joshua, Meagan, Donald, and Bobby; brother in Holland. Preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
