    Doove,Bernardus Lambertus was mijn Grootvader en Kleermaker van beroep.

    Mijn grootvader bleek in Duitsland nog Bedrijfsleider te zijn geweest volgens gegevens van de Begrafenis-
    Ondernemer. Gezien het Kleermakersberoep,zal hij wel bij een Kleermakerij in Dettmold hebben gewerkt.

    Hij woonde echter te Hakedahl nabij Dettmold,volgens die gegevens.
    In Nederland heeft hij volgens Familie-Informatie nog gewerkt bij het bedrijf Lampe,dat later door C&A werd
    overgenomen of door Peek &Cloppenburg. Dat weet ik niet meer zeker.

    Hij heeft ook nog eerst in Rotterdam gewoond en gewerkt waar hij met een Duitse vrouw huwde,dat echter maar
    9 maanden stand hield en is daarna in 1938 naar Duitsland vertrokken,waar hij bleef wonen en werk kreeg.

Putters,Chris was de broer van de bruid.
Kempers,Bernard of Ben was de Opa van de Bruid.

Jansen en Niemans waren misschien de bevriende collega`s van de Bruidegom. Dat vermoed ik.
Deze 4 mensen waren getuigen bij het huwelijk van mijn grootouders. Doove X Putters.

Mijn Grootvader Doove,Bernardus Lambertus huwde op 13-10-1937 nog met Denter,Maria te Rotterdam.Zij was Duits.
Hiervan scheidde hij ook weer op 08-07-1938 te Rotterdam en vertrok naar Duitsland.

Putters,Margaretha Johanna Maria huwde later met van Graafeiland,Joseph Marinus.26-09-1923 Den Haag.
Dit Huwelijk bleef stand totdat hij overleed op 01-05-1953 in Den Haag.

Uit dit huwelijk werden 2 zoons geboren.
1.van Graafeiland,Joseph Marinus Jr. op 06-04-1927 Den Haag.
2.van Graafeiland,Christiaan Cornelis op 28-01-1931 Den Haag.

Deze 2 zijn dus Halfbroers van mijn vader Doove,Wilhelmus Josephus Maria.
Ik kende hen als Oom Joop en Oom Chris,maar ook hun vader heb ik goed gekend in mijn jeugdjaren.
Opa van Graafeiland speelde met ons altijd het Vlooienspel. Wippen met plastic Ringetjes die ver sprongen.

Beide zoons van hem werkten bij de HTM.op de tram. Joop als bestuurder en Chris als conducteur op de bij-wagen.
Chris speelde ook trompet bij de HTM-Harmonie. Dat vergeet ik nooit meer. Er komt nog een verhaal over.
