.1 Jan JANS (Jan Jans de Olde), geboren voor 1719, overleden na 1774. Als zowel de vader als de zoon met de naam Jan Jans waren geboren was vader "de Olde" en de zoon "de Jonge". Dit geeft een verklaring voor het ontstaan van de naam "de Jonge".
Hij wordt vermeld in de haardstedenregisters van het Pesserveld van 1755 en 1764 met het huisnummer 27 en 29 en later in die van het Hollandsche Rot van 1774 met het huisnummer 138. Gehuwd voor 1735 met NN, geboren voor 1715.
