    De aangifte is gedaan door Antonie Korf, aanspreker, 29 jaar, wonende te Amsterdam. In de overlijdensakte van Theodorus staat achter de gedrukte tekst ".............is overleden:" met de hand geschreven het woord: "bevonden:" gevolgd door zijn naam. Deze tekst wordt in een overlijdensakte geschreven, wanneer iemand dood is aangetroffen en niemand getuige is geweest van het overlijden. Theodorus was van beroep behanger in werd in perceel Halmaheirastraat 79/hs dood aangetroffen. Dit was niet zijn woonadres. Omdat een doodsoorzaak op dat moment niet kon worden vastgesteld, werd zijn lichaam door de politie inbeslaggenomen. De gemeentelijke schouwarts heeft daarna het lichaam onderzocht en geconstateerd, dat Theodorus niet door geweld om het leven is gekomen. Ook de politie heeft een onderzoek ingesteld en kwam tot de conclusie, dat Theodorus ten gevolge van gasverstikking was overleden.
