Op 23 januari 1894 wedr hij opgenomen in het Binnengasthuis, oud bijna 1 jaar. Op 6 februari 1894 werd hij uit het ziekenhuis ontslagen. Op 12 februari 1894 werd hij opnieuw opgenomen in het Buitengasthuis. Het Buitengasthuis lag nabij het Wilhelminagasthuis. Na de bouw van het Wilhelminagasthuis kwam het Buitengasthuis te vervallen.
