Mechtelt Gelinck was een dochter van Wessel Gelkinck en diens vrouw Enneken in Dinxperlo.
Zoon Herman ter Honke werd geboren op de Honke in De Heurne en gedoopt op 13-02-1681 in Dinxperlo, hij trouwde op 12-04-1711 in Dinxperlo met Hendersken Hoftijser. Zij werd geboren op boerderij Hoftijzer in IJzerlo en gedoopt op 02-03-1687 niet op de 26e. Herman en Hendersken woonden ook op de Honke.
