Heinrich Hebing (1640) lived on the Klein Hebing farm in the neighbourship
Mussum in the Siegerheide, located west of Bocholt in Germany.

Two farmhouses “Klein Hebing” and “Groot Hebing” are situated in
the Siegerheide in Mussum, a few kilometers west from Bocholt in German
Both farms still exists.

The first document about an estate Hebing in the begining of the14th century
is found in the Archive in Münster in the
“Westfälischen Urkundenbuches Nr. 962

Auf die Anfrage vom 2. d. Monats.
Die ältetse Erwöhnung des Hofes Hebing scheint in einer Urkunde

Sie ist gedrückt in Bd. 8 des
Westfählischen Urkundenbuches Nr 962
Der Name dürfte als nachkomme des "HABO" zu deuten sein.
