Zij overleed Oosteinde, wijk 2 no 535. Haar overlijden werd aangegeven op 2 februari 's morgens om 11.00 uur door Johannes Paulus Cornelis Spindel, 28 jaar, "bedienaar der begrafenis" en Johan van Hoezius, 59 jaar oud en meester-loodgieter. Barbara was "oud twee en tachtig jaren en eene maand", weduwe van Corstiaan van der Valk "in leven tuinder" en dochter van Cornelis Boeters en Alida Schonk. Uit de akte van 29-10-1806 opgemaakt door notaris Jan Denick Patijn (RA ZH inv. 8420 akte 151) betr. de geboorte van haar onwettige zoon Lucas, die zelfde ochtend om 9.00 uur, blijkt dat Barbara op dat moment inwoont bij het gezin van Joris van Dijk en haar oudste zus Cornelia te Wateringen. Barbara is dan een minderjarige jongedochter en was "voorheen dienstmeid bij Lucas van Hulst". Bij haar overlijden staat dat zij een dochter is van Cornelis(foutief) Boeters en Alida Schonk.
