#Générale#Elle eut la tutelle de son fils & passa un acte au mois d'Aout 1218, par lequel elle consentait que la commune de Dijon se soumît à l'obéissance du roy, en cas qu'elle vint à se remarier sans son consentement, ou qu'elle ne lui rendit pas les services auxquels elle était obligée, ce qu'elle fit confirmer par Hugues évêque de Langres en 1221 & par Guillaume de Vergy, sénéchal de Bourgogne en la même année. Elle fonda le couvent des Jacobins de Dijon en 1230.

He married in 1194 Teresa of Portugal (1156-1218), the daughter of Alphonso I of Portugal, and Maud of Savoy, and the widow of Philip, Count of Flanders. She was repudiated in 1195, having produced no children.

In 1199, he married Alice of Vergy (1182-1252), the daughter of Hugues, Seigneur de Vergy by Gillette de Trainel. This marriage produced:
