Leen woonde aan de Haarlemmertrekvaartweg. Eind mei 1918 verkocht hij 'uit de hand' ongeveer 600 R.R. best tuinland gelegen in de Lisserbroek. In 1935 kocht hij woonhuis met erf en bollenschuur aan den 's Gravendamscheweg in combinatie voor f 3552 ten overstaan van notaris Wachter. In juni 1943 kocht hij van de gemeente Leiden een strook berm van 420m2 langs de Haarlemmertrekvaartweg tegen f 1,15/m2.
