Op 2 april 1892 ging Henricus in dienst bij een boer in Zijpe. Hij was toen 3 jaar bij zijn oom en tante geweest.
Op 2 maart 1899, hij was 21 jaar, gaat hij in de gemeente Harenkarspel wonen.
