Notes about Dirk Plomp

Daarmee was Dirk Plomp dus als zwager van Hendrika Oldenhof de aangetrouwde oom van Geertruida Blancke en tegelijkertijd haar zwager. Dit soort familierelaties zijn niet ongewoon. In mijn onderzoek ben ik wel vreemdere dingen tegen gekomen. Overigens verhuisde het gezin van Roeland Plomp en Anna Maria Bitter na 1872 uit Delft eerst naar Leiderdorp om vervolgens tussen 1879 en 1883 naar Zwolle te verhuizen. De voorouders van de familie Plomp zijn in de omgeving van Papendrecht terug tevinden, waarschijnlijk zelfs tot aan Teunis Pietersz, die naar schatting geboren is rond 1570. Zijn zoon Arie Theunisse of Theunis nam de naam Plomp aan. Of zijn broers Lenaert, Jan en Jochem dat ook deden, is mij niet bekend.
