Marten de Weger, de derde zoon van Age Frans werd geboren op 27 januari 1848. Hij huwde met Geertje Bouma, die in 1923 overleed. Haar man was 7 november 1901 gestorven. Hun oudste zoon Age de Weger werd geboren te Appelscha op 19 oktober 11884 en trouwde op 11 augustus 1911 met Alberta Jacoba Wallinga. Sindsdien is hij wagenmaker in Noordwolde (Friesland). De tweede zoon van Marten de Weger en Geertje Bouma was Remmelt Tjibbe. Hij werd geboren te Oldeberkoop op 1 oktober 1891. Hij trouwde met Geertje de Vries en was wagenmaker te Oldeberkoop in de oude zaak van zijn vader. Hij heeft een zoon Marten de Weger. Deze studeerde voor onderwijzer aan de Rijkskweekschool te Drachten.
