    I have no proof that Cornelius and Babara are Jean's parents (Cornelis may be an uncle). However, I cannnot find anything (and I've looked) about him or hs wife anywhere and I am wondering if there was a mix up of names somewhere in these genealogy sites, or, that there was a family scandal given the ages of Jean and Jeanne Marie and their daughter Barbe. Also, there are many cross overs in names of family members and in regard to Helmond, Noord-Brabant. Is it just a coincidence that Jean Maree van Eijk and Joanna Marie Baudewijns (who may be Jean Baudewijn's sister or cousin) have the same birth and death year? (Are they the same person?). So, the only records available only show Jean (Jan) Baudewijns and Jeanne Marie van Eijk as parents of Barbe Baudewijns. So, while I may be wrong, and until further evidence comes to light, I am going to assume that Cornelius and Barbara are Jean Baudewijns' parents.
