Overleden voor 28-10-1796 (hertr.partner). Hij is de zoon van Lucas Willems Schutte en van Jenneken Derkzen Marsman. Arent koopt op 25-02-1763 het erve "Boerendans" in de Dijkerhoek en verkoopt dit pand weer op 28-08-1787. Hij is dan inmiddels hertrouwd nadat hij weduwnaar geworden was. Hij trouwt 1st onder de naam Arent Lucassen Schutte en 2de als Arend Boerendans. Als zijn 2de vrouw hertrouwt is ze de weduwe van Arent Vossebeld.
