CORNELIS PIETERSZ. (den Jonge) MOS, stuurman, geb. 01-10-1564 te Scheveningen, wonende in de Keizerstraat, gedoopt rond 1568, overleden/begraven 16-03-1605 te Scheveningen, (Bron: Indexrapport Beglinger.nl).
Zijn kerkelijk huwelijk was in 1593 met:
Claesge Aelbrecht DE(N) HOUTEN, geb. 1571 te Schev., ovl. 1626, dochter van Aelbrecht Cornelisz (alias den Houten Aelbrecht, ca. 1540) en Trijntje Joppen (1520-1581).

NB-1. Op 16 maart 1605 wordt een akte opgemaakt i.v.m. het overlijden van Cornelis; hierin worden zijn kinderen genoemd en de voogden Cornelis Pieters den Ouden (1655, zijn broer), Fop Huygens (zijn zwager), Pieter Cornelis (1594, zijn zoon) en Adriaen Huyberts.

NB-2. Volgens sommige genealogen zou Claesge den Houten al geboren zijn in 1549. Dit zou inhouden dat haar kinderen, geboren in 1594, 1597 en 1599, zouden zijn geboren terwijl hun moeder dan 45, 48 resp. 50 jaar oud is. Zij zou dan in 1626 bij haar overlijden 77 jaar oud zijn. Na het overlijden van Cornelis Pietersz (den Jonge) Mos in 1605, huwt zij in 1607 met Lenert Jacobs, stierman (= stuurman), weduwnaar van Jacobge Jacobs.
